Marketing Excellence

Marketing Objectives: Normanton Park seeks to provide close-to-nature home living and to be a park within a park. Normanton Park also seeks to respect and pay homage to the rich history and heritage of the former condominium on the same site but yet usher in a new beginning for the development.

Primary Target Audience: The target audience of Normanton Park are PMEBs working in the CBD area, couples without children, families, retiree couples, expatriates/foreigners, and investors.

Marketing Strategy: To be a park within a park, Normanton Park is designed with a host of nature-themed facilities and with lush landscaping that blends into the adjacent 47-hectare Kent Ridge Park to surround Normanton Park with greenery from the inside to outside. In all, greenery and water bodies will occupy about 60% of Normanton Park’s ground-level common area. The name Normanton Park was retained to pay homage to the rich history and heritage of the former condominium with the same name which was previously built as a home to military commanders and officers in 1977 on the same site.

Deployment of Marketing Technology: Digital marketing including online advertorials, web banners and electronic direct mailers were utilised to reach out to prospective homebuyers. In addition, marketing agents use virtual reality tours as well as live streaming to engage prospective homebuyers who do not wish to come down to the show gallery due to Covid-19 curbs or virus transmission concerns. Teleconferencing software Zoom and other electronic tools were also used in the balloting and booking of units. Electronic sales and legal documents were also adopted for various parties to electronically sign and endorse to avoid physical contact and meet-ups.

Promotion: Promotional campaigns involving print advertisements, online advertorials and web banners were carried out in first-tier media such as Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao as well as property portals such as EdgeProp and PropertyGuru. The appointed marketing agencies of Normanton Park also executed their own social media campaigns. An overseas promotional campaign was also carried out in China to capture the overseas market.

In conjunction with the launch of Normanton Park, a lucky draw was organised where 10 units of Mercedes-Benz A-Class 180 Hatchback Style with 1.4L engine will be given away as prizes to the winners. Purchasers and their respective licensed real estate salespersons of the first 800 units sold at Normanton Park who meet with eligibility conditions will be entitled to participate in the lucky draw.

Showflat Excellence

Space Utilisation: Upon entering the show gallery, visitors will need to walk along a short path with walls showcasing various perspectives of Normanton Park. This teases visitors on the development before they enter a spacious hall with the huge 3D model in the centre. This hall is separated from the other parts of the show gallery by walls which provide more space and opportunities to present more information such as location map, nearby amenities and more perspectives. These walls also help to insulate the noise in each section (3D model hall, discussion area and show units) from each other for better comfort and peace.

Practicality: The different sections of the show gallery are separated from each other by walls to insulate noise and reduce the number of people in each section for better comfort and peace. The discussion area is furnished with many round tables with accompanying chairs for visitors and marketing agents to hold discussions in groups of maximum 5 people each separate from other groups.

Creativity: The hall housing the 3D model is designed to be spacious and with a huge chandelier to give a feel of prestige and luxury. The colour scheme of the show gallery interiors also follows that of the development for consistent branding and also to evoke the look and feel of the unit interiors.

Overall Uniqueness: The hall housing the 3D model is designed to be spacious and with a huge chandelier to give a feel of prestige and luxury.
